I'm in the 12th, so I'll weigh in on that. You are correct. Karcher/Beck too close to call, Beck clearly deserves the win.
O'Scanlon and Panter in the Assembly race. I just don't think either party's second candidate can overcome the other party's first.
Casagrande is being hurt tremendously by her Manalapan position. Mayor Andrew Lucas lost his own town in the Freeholder race last year by some 700 votes, made a deal with dems to be mayor and appoint Casagrande, and then adopted a budget with a huge tax increase. The Republican Party is split wide open, and Lucas is in a tough re-election battle. There are no positives coming for her from that postion.
On the other hand, who is Amy Mallet? Exactly.

As to how it shakes out in the 12th. I agree if the voters split their tickets. I am always unsure of whether or not that will happen. I hope it does because I think ticket splitting will help the Republicans this year.
The 12th split it's vote two years ago, although the senate seat was not at stake.
