Legal Tab of 2.8 Mill. Disturbs D'Amico

No Duh!

Unfortunatly the Democrat is %100 correct in his analysis of the matter.

I am glad to see Lillian finally gets it and jumped right on that. She should immediatly take steps to see follow through. As Director she can steal the lead from the Dems on this. She can say we tried to reduce costs and it did not work. Lets try in house and see if that works.

If they go this route the Republicans and the Democrats should pledge to develop a NON-Partisan criteria for the position.

Any way you cut it....it was D'Amico that's been raising the stink on this problem. The Freeholders need to wrap this up because even though we don't get a tax increase this year thanks to some election year juggling by the majority, this reprieve won't last through the next budget. It was a one time only non-increase. By looking into the in-house counsel, they could save some cash so that maybe next year's increase will not kill anybody.

But again, it was the DEMOCRATS that have been saying all along to look at this issue and it was the DEMOCRATS that want county contracts to go to the lowest qualified bidder and not the highest bidder that contributes to the republican coffers the way the majority has done lately.

Why can't Burry, Clifton and Barham get that idea....
